Badminton is far more than just a sport for Malaysians — it is a source of national pride. From legendary figures like Datuk Lee Chong Wei to the newest generation including Lee Zii Jia, Ng Tze Yong, Aaron Chia, and Pearly Tan, Malaysia has never stopped producing world-class badminton athletes. It comes as no surprise, then, that badminton betting is among the most popular activities for users of Richman888.
At Richman888, we understand just how close badminton is to the hearts of Malaysians. That's why we've invested in providing the most comprehensive badminton coverage — spanning national-level tournaments, domestic leagues, all the way up to the biggest stages like the BWF World Championships, Thomas & Uber Cup, and the annual Super Series. You can follow and bet on all these matches live on the platform Richman888.
Unlike other platforms that may only offer limited markets for badminton, Richman888 takes this sport seriously. We offer over 35 betting market types for every major match — from the straightforward match winner and set handicap to more specific markets like exact set scores, point scorer, and much more.
Another major advantage Richman888 is the in-play betting feature. Imagine you're watching a live stream of Lee Zii Jia's match, and midway through the second set you can see him starting to take control of the momentum. With Richman888, you can open the app or website and place bets based on the latest match developments — odds are updated every few seconds. This makes for a far more thrilling experience than simply waiting for the final result.
When it comes to odds, Richman888 consistently offers competitive odds compared to other markets. We use a transparent odds-setting system that is automatically updated based on the latest data — including player physical condition, head-to-head records, and environmental factors. This means every time you place a bet at Richman888, you get the best value for your money.
One of the most common mistakes new bettors make is placing bets based solely on a player's reputation. While names like Viktor Axelsen from Denmark do win frequently, there are many other factors that can influence the outcome of any given match. A player's physical condition on the day, court conditions, psychological pressure, and recent form across the last few tournaments — all of these need to be taken into account.
For Malaysian players in particular, it is worth noting that Lee Zii Jia's aggressive, fast-paced style is most effective on quick courts, but can be disrupted by more patient, tactical opponents. The same applies to the doubles pair Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik — their chemistry should be assessed based on how they have been performing together in recent tournaments, not just their world ranking.
Richman888 also provides match statistics and analysis to help you make smarter decisions. Use this data as a guide, not a guarantee — badminton is a sport full of surprises, and that's exactly what makes it so exciting to watch and bet on.
As part of the sports community Richman888, you are entitled to a range of bonuses and promotions designed specifically for badminton betting. During major tournament seasons such as the Malaysia Open or the Thomas Cup, Richman888 regularly runs special cashback promotions, boosted odds, and lucky draws for active betting members.
